This Privacy Policy explains how Love Pets and Memories ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use lovepetsandmemories.com (the "Service"). Love Pets and Memories allows users to create custom trading cards and related made-to-order keepsakes using AI and uploaded images. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
We operate from Ontario, Canada and are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Because we serve U.S. residents, including California, we also meet the relevant requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Your uploaded images and text prompts may be temporarily transmitted to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, RunPod Stable Diffusion) to generate custom trading card artwork. Outputs may be similar to those generated for other users. We do not use your prompts or outputs to train our own or third-party models beyond providing the Service.

You may accept or reject optional analytics, and reopen Cookie Preferences from the footer at any time. A hidden banner can mean a choice was already saved, not that optional analytics is necessarily off. Email subscriptions are independent. We do not currently use advertising pixels. Basic error diagnostics through Sentry remain separate from the analytics choice; performance tracing is disabled.
We share data only with providers necessary to operate the Service:
These providers may store or process data outside your province or state. We rely on contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses when data leaves Canada.
We store data in secure data-centres located in Toronto (Canada) and New York City (USA). When data crosses borders, it may be accessible to foreign courts and law-enforcement. We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy or to comply with legal obligations. Backups are retained for up to 12 months and then securely deleted.
If you request account deletion, we delete the active account profile and stored account assets that we no longer need to keep. We may retain certain completed order, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and fulfillment records when required by law or for legitimate business operations. This can include purchased final card records and associated final image assets when they are still needed for retained order or fulfillment history. We may also retain approved public product reviews in de-identified form so they no longer show your original account identity.
You have the right to access, correct, and withdraw consent to the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. If you are unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada: priv.gc.ca.
For verified deletion requests, we remove the account and stored user content we do not need to retain. Some business records, such as completed order and payment records, and purchased final card assets tied to retained order history, may be kept when required for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, or fulfillment purposes. Approved public product reviews may also be retained in de-identified form.
We do not sell or share personal information for monetary value. California residents may request to know, delete, or correct their personal information, or opt-out of any sale/share by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Request".
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS/TLS, at-rest encryption, role-based access controls, and multi-factor authentication for administrators. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before changes take effect.
